Heavy-Duty 24m³ Vertical Feed Mixer with Single Auger for Dairy Farms

Description

Product Overview

The UHAND Pro-24 stands as a key model in our professional lineup, designed to provide dependable, high-capacity feeding solutions for growing dairy and beef operations. With a generous 24 m³ volume, it effectively fills the space between standard mixers and heavy-duty machines.

Constructed entirely from premium NM400 wear-resistant steel and manufactured using our proprietary processes, the Pro-24 is built not only for strong performance but also for long-term reliability—helping reduce downtime and overall ownership costs.

Features & Benefits

Professional-Grade Heavy-Duty Structure

The Pro-24 features a reinforced design with 10 mm NM400 steel sidewalls and a 20 mm thick bottom plate, forming a highly durable mixing chamber. This structure resists deformation and performs reliably when handling dense and abrasive feed materials over extended use.

Twin NM400 Auger – Built for Longevity

At the core of the machine is a twin auger, integrally formed from 20 mm NM400 steel using specialized in-house technology. Compared to welded designs, this monolithic construction delivers superior strength, wear resistance, and a longer service life.

Efficient and Uniform Mixing

The auger is fitted with 22 precisely positioned blades made from 65Mn steel and reinforced with tungsten carbide coating. This configuration ensures fast, even, and consistent blending of all feed components. The optimized auger speed (720-24/39 rpm) guarantees repeatable mixing quality.

Enhanced Stability & Surface Protection

Equipped with a 8.25R16*4 tire setup, the Pro-18 offers excellent balance and stability during operation. Its surface undergoes a full protection process, including shot blasting followed by a 4-layer coating system (2 primers + 2 topcoats), providing strong resistance against corrosion and environmental conditions.

Optimized Power Requirement

The machine is engineered to perform efficiently with tractors supplying ≥140 HP PTO power, ensuring smooth and consistent operation even when fully loaded.

Application Scenarios

  • Well-suited for all scaled dairy and beef farms upgrading to professional-grade mixing equipment
  • Essential for operations utilizing highest horsepower tractors requiring reliable power harnessing.
  • A strong choice for farms focusing on durability, long-term investment value, and reduced maintenance costs

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a single auger handle uniform mixing at 24 m³ capacity?
Yes. The optimized 20 mm monolithic NM400 auger, combined with 22 carbide-coated blades, is specifically engineered to deliver excellent mixing uniformity (CV value) for this capacity range.

Is maintenance complicated?
No. The machine is designed for durability and simplicity, requiring only routine maintenance such as blade inspection and regular lubrication.

Is it compatible with weighing systems and software?
Yes. The chassis is pre-configured for optional weighing systems, which can be integrated with feeding management software for accurate ration control and data monitoring.

Why is a four-tire configuration used?
The 8.25R16*4 layout improves weight distribution and machine stability, reduces ground pressure, and enhances safety when operating on uneven or soft terrain.
